The motto was, “eat healthy, live healthy”. Porridge is good for us because it gives us carbohydrates (energy giving foods).
We made two types of porridge. Porridge composite flour and porridge Bushera flour.
The ingredients for the composite flour were rice, millet, soybeans, pumpkin seeds, corn and maize.
We used the following tools; blender, grinder-mixer machine, sieve, mingling stick,weighing scale, tumblers and cutting machine.
We made our porridge using the following steps:
We sorted out the bad seeds and stones
Winnowed out the rubbish
Grinded the seeds and cereals using a grinder-mixer machine and blender.
Sieved the flour, Coloured the stickers
Packed the flour in polythene bags and put stickers, We enjoyed the day because we saw many people from different areas.
