Curriculum Offered
Dynamic curriculum that changes every 4 to 5 years.
Despite changes to the curriculum, the foundation of life-long skills remains the same. The modifications to the curriculum simply realign the challenge level and introduce more relevant content to reflect the times.
Lessons
Hands-on Lessons
Lessons that are handled in a hands-on manner offer a great opportunity for students to not only gain a deeper understanding of the subject matter but also to foster collaboration, creative thinking, problem-solving, confidence building, and curiosity. It’s an effective way to engage students in the learning process and help them develop skills that they can apply in their future endeavours.
controlled
Controlled curriculum
The curriculum content is carefully controlled to allow teachers enough time to ensure that students are given ample opportunities to try out various options and discover solutions to problems. The curriculum is designed in such a way that there is no pressure for syllabus completion, as it provides only what is essential for the time available. This approach ensures that students have a clear understanding of the subject matter, without feeling overwhelmed or rushed.
Project based
A project-based approach to learning
The emphasis is not solely on how much knowledge a student acquires, but rather on what they can do with what they know. Therefore, the demonstration of understanding is always through projects created by the learners at the very end of each unit. This approach allows students to use their knowledge practically, fostering a deeper understanding of the subject matter. It also helps to develop essential skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration, which are highly valued in the current job market.
flexible
Flexible learning programs
The Cambridge curriculum is designed to offer great flexibility, especially at the secondary school level, with programs that enable learners to pursue their preferred professions at the university level.
Provisions
A wide range of provisions
The curriculum is structured to provide a wide range of provisions that enhance a child’s all-round growth. These wider provisions provide a greater range of choices for children to discover their special talents and abilities early on in life, allowing them to pursue their interests and passions with vigour and enthusiasm.
Handling
Lessons are handled within a heavy ICT model
Lessons are delivered using a heavy ICT model, which not only helps to grow learners’ digital literacy but also provides them with a much-needed introduction to the role of computers and ICT in the modern world. This approach helps learners develop the skills and knowledge they need to navigate the digital landscape with confidence and ease.
Intellectual growth
Academic rigour to grow intellectually resilient children
The content is designed with high learning expectations for the students, making it academically rigorous. The emphasis on academic rigour is intended to ensure that students become intellectually resilient, which is a major requirement for success in the current and dynamic world. The content is challenging but achievable, and it helps students develop a strong work ethic and critical thinking skills that will be valuable throughout their educational and professional careers.
